About the Global Trade Summit

The Global Trade Summit, formerly World Trade Day, is Rhode Island’s leading event on international trade, uniting business leaders, government officials, and academics to share strategic insights and foster collaboration. It provides attendees with the tools and resources to navigate global commerce and enhance competitiveness. The event promotes economic growth by connecting local businesses with global markets, supporting sustainable development, and strengthening the state’s economy. It also bridges academia and industry, engaging students and faculty in discussions that link academic theory with real-world business challenges, positioning Bryant University as a leader in global trade.

The Trade Summit offers networking opportunities for students and young professionals, allowing them to learn from and connect with experienced industry experts. Through collaboration and strategic partnerships, the event facilitates discussions that lead to actionable solutions, equipping participants to address challenges in international trade.

The Trade Summit serves as a critical platform for growth, learning, and building connections, supporting the missions of both Bryant University and the state of Rhode Island.
